I am going to purchase a DM86VR for my 2025 maverick hybrid. Do I need to purchase the Roadmaster brake light relay? Anything else I need to install this? Thanks!

Hey Daniel, thanks for reaching out. The Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System # DM86VR will work great on your 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid. You will not need a brake lite relay to install the braking system. You will need to install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep the battery topped off. That's the only other electrical component you would need to add. The charge line is best paired with a diode wiring kit like the Roadmaster # RM-15267.

Thanks! I watched the e-trailer install video of the stay in play duo on a 2025 maverick and they show you need a brake light switch as the factory switch is unusable. They do show a part number. Is that correct and if so what is the part number? Thanks!
