Thanks, it looks like it might be the switch itself, any idea where I can order one?

We don't have a video or a diagram unfortunately for removing the cover of the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX but I can tell you there's a screw on either side of the cover and a few screws on the bottom of the jack. The bottom screws appear to be torx head screws too.
