After you install the register how can you take it back out without breaking it

There are four clips that hold the outer vent portion of the Valterra Adjustable A/C Ceiling Register # A10-3359VP to the collar that attaches with screws. To remove the outer section once installed you'd need to reach your finder into the vent opening and pull on the latches so that they free up. I pointed out where they are in the picture I attached.
