Question:
Is there a way to connect this Jack to the trailer battery or 7 pin connector on the trailer when my tow vehicle isnt close enough for the installed cord to reach? I want to retain the existing connection, but get some sort of alternate power connection from the TT Thank you

If you are wanting to draw power off of the battery on your travel trailer for your Buyers Products 12-Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500 then you need to install a vehicle-side 7-Way connector like the Hopkins # HM48480 on your trailer and run some wiring.
The wiring you need to run is for the power and ground functions. Simply run some 10 Gauge Wire # 10-2-1 from the power and ground pins on your 7-Way (see attached photo) and the connect the power wire to your positive battery post (with an in-line 40 Amp Circuit Breaker # 9510) and then the ground wire to your negative battery post. We have a wiring kit # 5506 which includes 25' of wire along with a few different size circuit breakers and a variety of connectors.
