1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Tire, with a beautiful black machine Trinity wheel and a five on 4-1/2 inch lug pattern. Now folks, this is a very sleek aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rust proof. It does come with the included center cap.
The pilot hole here is 3.19 inches, and if you're not familiar with these center caps, the center of the center cap itself can actually pop out. That way you can access your grease zerts on your axle, if you have them. Now, this has a nice five fork design with that elegant black and machine silver accent there, and that just gives it a nice look, in my opinion. As you can see, that glossy enamel coating is gonna resist corrosion and give it a little shine. Now, the tire itself is a radial tire, and it's constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords that are gonna give it a long life.
It's also gonna be great for highway use. Now, this is made only for trailers only. It's not being used on any other kind of vehicles. It's an ST, or special trailer tire. That means it has sturdy sidewalls and that's gonna be built in to handle extra heavy loads and those kind of things, versus your vehicle tires.
Now, it has nylon tread firming belt overlays that are gonna help prevent tread separation. And, the tread depth bars give you a quick visual indicator of the tread wear. Now, this has been bake tested, so it's gonna ensure the rubber holds up over time, and this automotive grade tread has sipes on the side here, those little squiggly lines, that's gonna help channel water away from the tire, thus improving your traction during wet, snow, ice, those kind of things. The valve stem is included. Everything here has been balanced from the factory, as well.
So, on the back here you can see these stuck on wheel weights. It's a five on 4-1/2 inch lug pattern, and the wheel bolt size is a 1/2 inch by 20. The capacity is 2200 pounds, and, the overall diameter, so when this is inflated like I get it today, is 26.14 inches. Load range is C. That just means it's a six ply tire. And it's got a speed rating of M, or 81 miles per hour. The wheel, again, is a 14 by five and a half. They get that 14 on diameter bead seat to bead seat. Just put 2500 miles on this set of tiers in 90+ degree heat with absolutely terrible road conditions and have no complaints! Very good looking wheels and tires and like the 225 on 15" wheels. Good amount of sidewall ans still worked well in the place of 205 tires on 4" drop axles on an enclosed harley trailer. etrailer even new what lug nuts i needed. Great service!
