Wire Colors on Brake Controller Explained

Question:
hi -just installing powertrac controller#805004 on my tundra-does the green wire on my factory harness [headlamp switch to vehicle trail lamps] go to brake lites[red] along w/green/white [vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller [input]]?? have nothing

When hardwiring a Tekonsha PowerTrac brake controller part # 39523 to a vehicle like your 2004 Toyota Tundra the wiring colors on the controller should go red on the controller to a circuit that only sees voltage when the brakes are applied, blue for brake output which is what goes to the trailer connector at the rear of the vehicle, black goes to 12 volt power to power the controller, and white goes to ground.
