Question:
Will this hitch work with a 2010 Mazda Speed3

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11393, is designed for sedan models so it will not fit the MazdaSPEED model. But we do have hitch options that are listed as a fit for the 2010 MazdaSPEED 3. CURT lists trailer hitch # C11383, as a fit for the MazdaSPEED 3. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you and a link to a video showing a typical installation.
You will need a proper ball mount like the C45521 and a hitch pin and clip like # F-4 . If you plan on doing some towing, you can use ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, I recommend the 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit, # C59496. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
If you are going to be using the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier, the CURT warranty requires the use of a stabilization strap, # 18050, for extra support. Make sure that any accessory you add is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch. For bike racks, you will be limited to carrying 2 bikes maximum.
