Question:

2013 infiniti jx35 lights not working from four pin trailer harness bought t-one plug and go wiring harness after all hooked up only light from four pin is headlight, no signals and cant tell if brake light is working, using a test light. used video from 2014 infiniti qx60 which showed exact hookups in rear of car only difference is fuse box under hood is not in same place. nothing was said about using a converter. I went this route after talking with an infiniti tech person down in the twin cities area

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118670 that you recently installed is actually not a fit for your 2013 Infiniti JX35. The harness will physically install just fine, as you found, but the JX35 is missing an additional factory jumper harness that is needed to activate the turn and stop light signals. This explains why you aren't getting these signals to work on the connector.

The only available wiring harnesses that are confirmed to work on your 2013 Infiniti JX35 are universal kits like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Kit # C56190KIT. This kit will let you splice into the factory wiring on your vehicle to provide you with a fully functional 4-Way connector.
