Determining Ground Clearance on 2014 Ram 3500 with Curt Class V Hitch # C15803 Installed

I was hoping to see a picture of this item installed on a similar vehicle to see the clearance under the oem hitch and how far this aftermarket hitch will hang down under the truck I do not want to make a return after purchasing this item,

The Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15803 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2014 Ram 3500 and will sit directly beneath the factory hitch receiver on the truck. We have not gotten a chance to install this hitch on the 2014 Ram so we don't have any pictures, but I do have a measurement on the hitch that will allow you to see how far the new receiver will hang down below the truck.

From the top of the mounting brackets on the hitch to the bottom of the receiver, there is a distance of 12.91 inches. You can simply take this measurement down from the truck's frame rails where the hitch will attach to see exactly where the receiver will sit when installed.
