Rear Suspension Enhancement to Increase Ground Clearance of 2010 Honda Odyssey with Cargo Carrier
Published 08/09/2018 >
Question:
Will this work to raise the receiver on an 10 Odyssey for a hitch mounted cargo carrier? I have the etrailer 2inch hitch and a cargo carrier. When I load up the car / cargo carrier I only have a couple of inches from the bottom of the carrier to the ground. Raising it 10inch would be ideal. One constraint is the length of the riser. It will have to extend from the 2inch receiver past the bumper before rising vertically. Will this fit the bill?

High low adapters really aren't ideal for adding ground clearance as they end up cutting the capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent and they end up adding quite a bit of length to the carrier as well.
Best solution would be rear suspension enhancement for your 2010 Honda Odyssey to help reduce sag when carrying the carrier to improve the ground clearance. The Air Lift kit part # AL60815 fits your vehicle and will give you the ability to add air to bags and increase the ground clearance. I attached an install video for this as well.
