Question:

I have a 2017 ram 2500 diesel pulling a 21, travel trailer with a deck on the front to hold a 4 place rzr. GVW of trailer is approx 10500# I need another 6 inches of extension for turning radius as I have Already hit my bumper due to a modification to hold the rzr. The 21” torguelift super truss is way more then I need in length Are there any other options. Thanks for your time

The shortest trailer hitch extender we offer is the Brophy Hitch Extender part # HE06 which measures 7-3/8" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch pin hole. However, please keep in mind that this extender will reduce the tongue weight capacity of trailer hitch by 50%. The other option we have is to use an extended length ball mount like the Draw-Tite Ball Mount part # 4285 which measures 12" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. However, this option will only work for you if the 3" rise and 4" drop will keep your trailer level. It will not reduce the tongue weight capacity of trailer hitch by 50%.
