Will a Reese Revolution pin box work with a Demco Recon 21k on a double lock gooseneck ball in a F-150 6-1/2foot bed?

I do have options for you but the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 cannot be used with a rotating pin box like the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR (Reese Revolution). The stress on the connection point which is the gooseneck hitch ball opening is too great.

Unfortunately, there is no safe way to use a 5th wheel hitch that connects to the gooseneck hitch ball opening on a trailer with a rotating pin box. Therefore, in order to tow your trailer you would need to either replace the pin box or remove the gooseneck hitch. I recommend replacing the pin box as this will be the easiest option for you. In order to recommend the correct replacement pin box I would need to know the make and model number of the pin box you have now.

If you have a 6-1/2' bed then you are also going to need to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch in order to obtain clearance between the loft of the trailer and cab of your vehicle. In order to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch with the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch part # C607-649 you will need to use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter part # C16210. This can then be used with certain sliding 5th wheel hitches like the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16521.
