Review of the K-Source Snap and Zap Custom Towing Mirrors

Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors for the driver and passenger side. Part number KS81850. Maintain that factory look while towing with the K Source Custom Towing Mirrors. They simply snap over your F-150's factory mirrors and match the contours. Here on the back, the clear lens is going to accommodate your factory turn signal, and here on the bottom, the cut-out will accommodate your puddle lamps. Let's go check them out in action, and then we'll go over some additional features. They're going to be perfect for backing up to your camper or trailer, and also while towing. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper.

As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot, by the way we have it set up, but this would be your standard mirror view. The towing mirror itself is adjustable to most angles, just like our factory mirror. We can do up and down, diagonal, and side-to-side. It measures about 6-3/4 inches tall, and 3-7/8 inches wide. Overall, we've got 14 inches.

Over here, the clips are not going to interfere with the operation or movement of our factory mirror, and we can even still fold it in. And it comes with one for the driver and passenger side. Now that we've got all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get them installed. Now, these are very easy to put on. They go on in seconds. What you want to do is turn it back around.

We'll take the two tabs on top and clip it onto the top of the mirror here. And we're going to do that at an angle. Once we've got it in position here, all we're going to do is just push it down into place and then make sure that the bottom snaps on to the bottom portion of the housing. Just like that. We've repeated the same process here on our passenger side. Now we're ready to tow.

When you're done towing, they're just as easy to take off. The tab down here, simply just push down and take it off like so. And that's going to complete our look at the K Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors for the driver and passenger side. Part number KS81850.
