Features to know about

Upgrade Worn or Outdated Brakes: Slip-On Rotors Deliver Smooth, Confident Stopping

If your old drum or idler setup is due for replacement, this DeeMaxx 12" disc brake kit makes the upgrade easy. The slip-on rotors fit right over standard idler hubs and are held in place by your existing wheel bolts, so there’s no need to replace the whole hub-and-rotor assembly. Ceramic brake pads and stainless steel pistons provide fast, responsive braking with smooth control.

Built for Harsh Conditions: Maxx Coating and Stainless Components Fight Corrosion

Saltwater, snow, and road salt can destroy standard brake finishes fast. The Maxx coating on these rotors and brackets has a salt spray rating over 1,000 hours—far outlasting zinc or Dacromet coatings. Stainless steel calipers and drainage holes in the hat section help water drain away and prevent corrosion inside the rotor. It’s a smart setup for trailers exposed to wet or salty environments.

Runs Cooler and Lasts Longer: Vented Rotors Reduce Heat and Fade

Hot brakes can lose power quickly under load. These vented rotors pull air through the core to shed heat faster, keeping performance consistent even on long downhill grades. The cooler operation prevents premature pad wear and helps the brakes maintain strong stopping power mile after mile.

Easy to Install and Maintain: Laser-Etched Instructions and Simple Design

This kit is made for straightforward DIY installation. The bolt-on brackets and slip-on rotors make setup simple, and each caliper has laser-etched instructions showing how to bleed the brakes—no guesswork required. With fewer moving parts than drum systems, maintenance is minimal over time.

Strong Build for Heavy Loads: 6,000-lb Axle Rating and 7-Year Warranty

Designed for lasting strength, this kit fits 6,000-lb axles with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2" wheel bolts. Automotive-grade construction ensures reliable performance season after season, backed by a 7-year warranty for added confidence. The set includes two slip-on rotors, stainless steel calipers with pads, and mounting brackets to upgrade one axle.

So far, so good. The only downside is that new bolts are not supplied for mounting brackets. Box looked like it fell off a shelf a few times, but the components don't appear to be damaged at this time.

Great service had just what I need very knowledgeable.

by:

I ordered two brake sets for my dual axle trailer and was sent the wrong roters in one box. Additionally they were just thrown in a box, not packed or secured and thus arrived damaged. I am planning a road trip that likely cannot happen now, replacement parts were to be shipped out today after calling customer service twice but I’ve got no confirmation that happened. The product seems fine the problem is the company selling it.
