Compressed Length of Lippert Shock and Where it is Measured

Question:

DO YOU HAVE A LIPPERT SHOCK THAT HAS A 12 INCH COMPRESSED LENGTH

We have shock # LC283280 but its compressed length is 8-5/8 inches. We are measuring that from inside washer to inside washer though so if you are measuring differently it is possible that this shock will work. I have linked a video of this shock for you.

I Have a 202 Jayco 29.5 bhok fifth wheel there are no shocks on it,I would like to install the LC283280 the brackets were welded on at the factory and the distance between them is 10 3/8 '' with the trailer sitting level and full load on the springs will the shocks work for my application.THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Yes, the Lippert Shocks should work perfectly on your Jayco 5th wheel. For 3,500 pound axles you can use the Kit # LC281255 or for higher-rated 5,200 to 7,000 pound axles use part # LC281281.
