Question:

I want to raise the trailer that means that the existing shocks will not work, they won't be long enough. What is the measurement that I need to give you to purchase the correct shock?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking; if it is about how to mount the Lippert shocks, the figure you referenced is simply a part of those directions. If you would like to clarify please let me know so I can get a better idea of what you are trying to accomplish.

We have two shock mounting kits, the Lippert # LC281255 for 2-3/8" axle tubes and # LC281281 for 3" axle tubes. Both of these shocks have an extended length of 13.5" and compressed length of 8.625" (that length is the body of the shock itself, like in Figure A of the accompanying photo), so that is the space you would need. You can check out the directions I've added for you as well to see how the shocks install. There is a single shock available # LC283280 as well, in the same measurement, or the standard replacement shock # LC283271, which has an extended length of 12" and compressed length of 7.5". I've attached video reviews of each of these products for you to check out as well.
