Can ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire Replace 165/80-13 Size Tire on Boat Trailer

Question:

My boat trailer needs new tires, to replace the current 165/80-13 tires with a D load rating. Will 175/80-13 tires work?

Your current 165/80-13 size tire has a section width of about 6.5" and an overall diameter of about 23.4". The Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel # AM31994 that you referenced has a section width of 7" and an overall diameter of 24.1". This means that you need to have room for at least 0.25" of tire width-wise and about 0.50" height-wise. As long as you have that then this new tire will work great!

Fot fitment just make sure you have the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, your bolts are 1/2" size, and your pilot hole is at least 3.19" in diameter.
