How to Fit Thule BigMouth Bike Rack onto Aero Shaped Crossbars

Question:
I have a 2016 BMW x3 with factory-installed BMW crossbars. I also have 2 Thule Big Mouth Upright bike racks which have never been used. Im trying to find an adapter to allow me to mount the bike racks on the crossbars. The only thing I have been able to find is a T-system adapter Thule Adapter Kit Xadapt2. I would prefer a clamp style adapter. Is there anything like that available? Thank you!

The only adapter has been discontinued. The best option for you is to outright replace the racks. I recommend the Thule ProRide, part # TH598004 which replaced the BigMouth and offers similar features, plus an easier to manage frame clamp and available integrated one-key locks as part # TH450200.
