Solution to Lock Thule Big Mouth to Yakima Crossbars of Mazda 3

Question:
I have a Mazda 3 2014, Mazda Yakima Crossbars with a Thule 5990e Big Mouth Bike Rack. Thule had me order an XADAPT2 kit so I could use the T mounts. However, I have not installed it because they do not solve my issue. I am wanting a way to lock my bike rack to my crossbars. Will this work? It seems that I would only need one of these for each rack. I have two bike racks Thanks,

For your application your best bed would be a Yakima cable lock part # Y07238 which you can route through the bike frame and then around the crossbars of your roof rack to lock it in place.
