2018 Honda Pilot Trailer Wiring and Hitch Recommendation

Question:

How do I know if I have the factory tow package? We just bought a 2018 Pilot EX-L today and were told by the dealer that no Honda Pilots come with a tow package. The dealer can install a receiver and harness but they want $1000. Im looking at buying the Draw-tite receiver and want to make sure I order the correct harness. I need a 7 round for my pop up. Is their a way to plug my 7 round to a 4 flat if I dont have the factory tow package?

We have just what you need to install a 7-way in your 2018 Honda Pilot. For that you'd want the part # 118286 which is a confirmed fit and would work well. This fits regardless of what type of tow package you might be missing.

Then for a trailer hitch the etrailer part # e98840 is a confirmed fit and would also be a great option. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
