We changed the largeOEM pillow mufflers on the 2018 Mustang without active exhaust to the smaller but louder Roush axle back mufflers and this Curt hitch fits fine.

For your 2018 Ford Mustang Curt does list the part # C11405 as a fit for the GT models. We had a customer come back though and tell us they had to move back the clips of the sensor to attach it back to the frame.
