Wiring up trailer lights can be tricky if you need to cut into factory wires. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector solves that problem with a plug-in design. It connects directly to existing vehicle plugs, giving you a secure fit without any splicing or wire tracing.
This harness is made for easy, do-it-yourself installs. Every connector is designed to match the vehicle’s factory wiring, so it’s a clean plug-and-play job. You just route the included power wire how you prefer, connect it to the battery, and you’re ready to tow. No special tools or extra parts required.
Once installed, the 4-pole flat connector gives you the basic lighting functions your trailer needs—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It’s the standard connection used on small and mid-size trailers, so you can hook up and tow confidently knowing your lights will work as expected.
The built-in powered converter keeps the vehicle’s sensitive electrical system isolated from the trailer wiring. That means you get reliable lighting performance while protecting the vehicle's circuitry from overload or feedback issues that can happen with direct-tap systems.
If your vehicle didn’t come with a tow package, this harness makes it easy to add one. It provides all the wiring you need for trailer lighting through a simple plug-in setup. That makes it perfect for vehicles that weren’t originally wired for towing but need a safe, dependable connection for light-duty trailers.

Easy to connect and works great! Great product
As advertised.
perfect
Easy connections and directions
Great kit, installs easily. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I do not like how it is set up to hang out of the trunk when in use.
Works great, easy to install. Running the wire to the battery inside the car was much easier. Already was a spare hole through the firewall.
I was able to install in just over an hour. Very easy installation process and worked as claimed. The kit came with everything needed, absolutely no issues at all. I plugged the trailer into the harness and lights worked perfectly.
Everything as promised with fast delivery and communication!
Works great, not one problem after a ye ar.
1 year later, it still works. Install was straightforward, but a time consuming job due to the nature of the job, no fault of the designer
Plug and play!!
Excellent customer service
Great prices and super fast shipping!!
fast shipping- easy to install
Works great would recommend getting heat shrink to keep splices protected from corrosion and weather
Fuse holder broke immediately otherwise everything works great.
Curt has always been a good product. The instructions are clear and specific without the "insert slot "a" in to "b" non-sence.
Easy to wire up, instructions were clear and easy to read.
Easy shopping, good value and quick delivery on this product. An added bonus is a 'how to video' for installation. I highly recommend this company.
2nd wire harness I installed on a mustang. Fit was good, 90% of the install time was running the power line to the battery. The work in the trunk took just a few minutes.
Would I recommend E-Trailer the answer is yes. Fast delivery, friendly service. Instructions and videos very informative. I will admit I did not install this myself since the Mustang requires the T-harness to be run underneath the car to the battey, a lift will make life so much easier. Time to perform both hitch and harness installation two hours. Sorry no picture but Kudos to etrailer.
This wiring harness was as easy to install as the harnesses I've installed in several other vehicles. Custom harnesses are well worth it compared to universal harnesses because the installation is faster & there's no chance of an incorrect installation & possible electrical system damage.
Seems like all of the wiring harnesses for the late model 'stangs are the same. No splicing required for the brake/tail light connections but the power wiring will require several splices. Not the end of the world but no splices for the power wiring is desirable.

1 yr update. So far so good. No wiringlighting problems with my utility trailer. No problems with my cars lightswiring either. Everything seems A-OK.
It was easy putting it on my Ford Mustang 2012 V6 Premium, the only problem that I had was feeding the screws through the holes. The video installation really is a big help. I went to a local U-HAUL and asked how much would it cost to install the hitch and do my wiring they said 225. That’s when I decided to do it myself took only 2 hours it’s easier with someone helping.
Just what I was looking for and easy installation with ou having to cut any factory wires
