Question:
I would like to add brakes to my Jayco. Can I used 23-47-48 or do I need to use K23-103-104-00? I have 2200 lbs axle DEX# 2475920. My trailer does not have the manual parking break. Which drum and hub assembly should I use? Thanks for you help.

If you want parking brakes for your 2015 Jayco Jay Sport 8SD then you do want to go with the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-103-104-00. Parking brakes aren't required so if you would rather use standard brakes then you can use the part # 23-47-48 that you referenced instead. If your spindles don't already have the brake mounting flanges then you need those, like part # 4-34, as well.
Please note that if you haven't had brakes on your trailer yet then you also need hub and drum assembly, a breakaway kit, and wiring.
Use hub and drum # 8-173-16UC3 for regular spindles or part # 8-173-16UC3-EZ for EZ Lube spindles. Both of these have inner and outer bearings # L44649 so you can verify if they are compatible with your axle by that.
The breakaway kit I recommend going with is the popular Hopkins Engager # 20099. For wiring I recommend using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000 if you don't already have a 7-Way and then use 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 for power to your brakes.
You also need a brake controller to activate your trailer brakes. If you don't already have one then I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. Let me know what the year/make/model is of your vehicle and I can give you details on the installation.
