Question:
I have a Jetbag rooftop carrier and have lost the lock key. The # on the front of the cylinder is 2854. Do you think you can make me a key with that info? See attached photo.

Expert Reply:
Your best chance is replacement key # THKEYN2854. The lock on your cargo box is similar if not the same on many older Thule-made cargo boxes so if anything is going to work it will be this key. If the key goes in but does not turn then the issue could actually be that the key is not fully seated. This is common with new keys and old locks and the solution is to simply tap the key in lightly with a mallet.
