  We do have a replacement key for your 2854 lock on your Sears X-Cargo Sport 20 carrier, # THKEYN2854. But, unfortunately since the lock was drilled and you need the lock core and key, we do not have a core/key combo with the 2854 code.   Since your Sears X Cargo roof cargo box has lock 2854 you will need replacement key # THKEYN2854. The lock does not have to have a letter in front of the number for the key to fit. One tip I can offer is that if you insert the key and it does not turn that means it is not seated all the way in the lock. You could use a mallet to gently persuade the key all the way in so that it will work.

  Your best chance is replacement key # THKEYN2854. The lock on your cargo box is similar if not the same on many older Thule-made cargo boxes so if anything is going to work it will be this key. If the key goes in but does not turn then the issue could actually be that the key is not fully seated. This is common with new keys and old locks and the solution is to simply tap the key in lightly with a mallet.
