Choosing Between Two Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems

I am trying to decide between the Fastway FA92-00-600 FA92-00-0800 for a 2017 Apex nano 193bhs, which has a listed tongue weight of 406lbs. I am estimating it will be close to 600lbs loaded, which seems to be right in the middle of these 2 hitches. Is it better to go with the higher weight rating or the lower? Thanks.

If your trailer's loaded tongue weight ends up at around 600 pounds I recommend going with the higher rated Fastway e2, part # FA92-00-0800. For one, if you go over the rated tongue weight the weight distribution system will not be able to do its job. Also, with weight distribution the amount of weight you have stored behind the tow vehicle's rear axle acts as tongue weight on the hitch. So this needs to be added to the loaded trailer's tongue weight and if you're already at 600 pounds then the lower rated e3, part # FA92-00-0600 will certianly not be enough.
With that being said, if you end up adding of weight behind your tow vehicle's rear axle you might consider the 1,000 pound e2, part # FA94-00-1000. It has a tongue weight range from 600 to 1,000 pounds so you'll likely be right in the middle which is perfect.
Whichever e2 you choose you also need to get a htich ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank. If your Apex Nano fits a 2 inch ball use # EQ91-00-6080 or if it fits a 2-5/16 inch ball use # EQ91-00-6100.
