Mounting Bracket for 7-Way Trailer Connector on Toyota Highlander

Question:

I purchased a wiring harness for my 2012 Toyota Highlander ETBC7 and am going through the video for the install. I noticed that my hitch CURT 13534 Class 3 doesnt have the brackets for the 7 pole connector. Can I mount the 7 pole connector to the bumper somehow, or is there a simple way to mount the connector to my hitch directly?

To prevent the need for any drilling or modification to your Highlander, I recommend using our No-Drill Long Mounting Bracket, # 18136. This bracket comes with a steel clamp that will secure the bracket to the crosstube of the hitch. The bracket that came with your install kit will bolt directly to the long bracket with the included screws.
