Question:
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - 75699 I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel. I would like to install the above listed hitch mount because I like the clean look. It says that it excludes diesel models. Can you confirm that this model would not fit on the diesel version? I dont like the way the tubing sticks out on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # C13182 .

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver part # 75699, does have a cleaner look than either of the two that fit the Diesel models; parts # C13182 and # 75713. However, the # 75699 doesn't fit the Diesel models because the DEF tank interferes with the location where the hitch installs. The two hitches that fit your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee show the crosstube under the bumper.
