Do I have to have two auto rest both 20 and 40? I have a Ford diesel.

Expert Reply:
You'll need a 20 amp circuit breaker for the brake controller power and a 40 amp circuit breaker for the battery charge line circuit from the trailer connector for a total of two. We actually offer a kit with these circuit breakers as well as the wires you need to attach to and from them, the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers part # 5506.
