Recommended Hidden Trailer Hitch for 2018 Toyota Highlander

Question:

Looking to buy a hitch for my Toyota Highlander 2018- Your webiste has a number of options Including Draw tite Part # 76156 or the Curt C13200. Trying to decide between the two models and wanted to know which one was closest to bumper and least obvious. From the picture it looks like the Draw tite but I cant tell for sure. Can you help?

There are indeed a few trailer hitches available that are confirmed to fit your 2018 Toyota Highlander. We have actually gotten a chance to install all of them on this vehicle, so we know exactly where the hitch receiver sits in relation to the rear bumper.

The Class III hitch that will provide you with the most hidden design is actually the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13200. When installed on your Highlander, there is a distance of right at 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the rear bumper. This is the largest such dimension for the hitches available for your vehicle, meaning it is the most concealed. I have attached a few images of the three hitches confirmed to fit your Highlander to better illustrate this.

This is a really nice, Class III hitch that will use existing holes in your vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation. I have included the full installation video that you can also use for reference.
