How Long Is the Flat Portion of the Redline Trailer Fender # HP49VR

Question:
I need to know how long the step part of this fender is...the length of the top. I also want to drill this fender and bolt it on to my existing fender brackets. Any problem with doing this?

The flat portion of the top of this Aluminum Tread Plate Trailer Fender # HP49VR that you referenced is 13 inches, the entire top of the fender is 16 inches. Check out the picture I attached to see this measurement.
As long as you used plenty of bolts to securely install this fender to your trailer there is no reason you could not bolt it to your trailer instead of welding it.
