Question:

Hi, Need help in ordering some parts for my boat trailer. I attached picture with some dimensions. Hopefully this will give you some more information. The trailer is 1976 EZtrail and I am going to replace everything on it besides axle. I lined up following products to purchase, but not sure if those are the right ones. SP-124275 166081 APUBR-10 APS4 Especially, I am not sure if Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 3-1/4inch Front, 1-1/2inch Rear Fits on 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26inch Long I assumed I should go a bit bigger then shorter from my current axle length. I also have those old metal box type fenders that I would like to replace. However, as you can see the space around the wheel is much bigger then the actual wheel so not sure if Single Axle Trailer Fender w Top Step - Style C - Black Plastic - 8inch to 12inch Wheels - Qty 1 # F008551 would look a bit dumb on it not to mention installation issue. Another one I was thinking to get is Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender with Top Step - Black Plastic - 14inch Wheels - Qty 1 # F008554 but not sure if this would look too big. I was wondering if you guys already run into similar issues and could provide some feedback.

All of the products you listed will work together just fine. Keep in mind, if your current springs are not 26 inch springs, like the # e77SR you referenced, your hangers, # APS4, will not be in the exact same position as your current ones. When repositioning everything the most important factor is keeping the axle in the same location it currently is. The U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-10 is correct for a 2,000 pound axle and the Shackle Bolt # 166081 will work too.

It's hard to tell by the picture what kind of overall look the 8 to 12 inch wheel fender # F008551 would look like but I don't think mounting it would be an issue with the mounting brackets # PF775-BKT-2. I do feel like the fender for 14 inch wheels, # F008554, might look too big.

A thought is to maybe go with an aluminum fender like # HP49VR to get the appearance you're looking for.
