Tips for Preventing Thule Apex Bike Rack Cradle from Sliding

Question:
My current apex 4 model 9026 cradles do not stay in place. They slide up and down the arms and the bikes move a lot. The cradles are relatively new. Is hairspray the only fix ? Thanks

You can try hairspray, but if the cradles are new they shouldn't move that easily. You can also put a single layer of electrical tape around the arms of the rack to add space and friction to the cradle assembly.
What bike rack did you install the part # 7521513002 on?
