I have the 2012 Jeep Liberty. Will this plug right into the plug on my car lights.

I do have a solution for you, however the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM42635 referenced in your question is designed to work on certain model year Jeep Wranglers and will not fit your Jeep Liberty.
For your 2012 Jeep Liberty, you will instead want the Hopkins # HM11142485. This custom harness is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will install by connecting to the built-in ports located behind the driver and passenger side tail lights. Once those connections are made, you will run the hot lead up to the Jeep's battery.
