Can Tekonsha Wireless Brake Controller Install with 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter

Is it possible to use a 4-pin to 7-pin adapter + the Tekonsha wireless brake controller and leave the power/brake input/brake output wires open ? My vehicle only has a 4-pin connector

Expert Reply:
You can use a 4-way to 7-way adapter like the part # 37185 to install a Prodigy RF part # TK94FR but you have to connect the black wire of the # 37185 up to the positive post of the vehicle battery through a circuit breaker like part # 9510.
Once you do that the RF will be active and ready to go. No other wires would be needed to be ran.

The black wire will go to the breaker then from there to the positive terminal of the battery?
