How Does Replacement Spout Nut, O-Ring Kit for Catalina Spouts # PF281028 Install
Updated 01/25/2018 | Published 01/24/2018 >
Question:
The spout was leaking where it went into the fixture. I removed the spout nut and there were two O-rings on the bottom of the spout. I believe that is incorrect, and received part PF281028. However, there arent any instructions about how to assemble the snap ring. I assume the O-ring should go on the end, and the snap ring above it. Correct? Do you have a diagram?

Expert Reply:
This kit has several different snap rings and they would use the one that looks closest to what is already on their spout. The snap ring helps seat the spout into place and sturdy it up. If the spout is wobbly they can try a different size snap ring to help sturdy it.
