Replacement Converter For Parallax 7355 Power Center Converter

Question:

currently in my 30 amp camper i have a 7300 series wfco parallax converter. its a 7355 model. i was wondering if a model 8955pec would work as a replacement?

The Replacement Converter # PD4655V is the correct converter for your Parallax 7355 power center. I do not see that WFCO shows their 8955PEC being acceptable to use with your Parallax 7355.

Hi bud I'm wondering I pulled my 7355 out and it has only 4 wires on left black and a white and on the right side it has a blue and a white that connects to the board. Please advise is the the right replacement ? Thanks

@Roger The Replacement Converter # PD4655V is the correct converter for your Parallax 7355 power center. The black and white are your AC power and blue and white go to DC. I have linked the install instructions below which will walk you through the removal and install process.

In need an entire replacement for my Paralax 7355 power converter. The panel and converter Would a paralax 8355 work?

@Jeff You're looking for the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series System # PD4060K from us. The Parallax 8355 is also compatible, but we unfortunately don't carry it.

@JonG does it matter that the Watts are completely different? The Watts says 975 on my converter, and the replacement it says 750 Watts.

@Crystal The Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series System # PD4060K is rated for 810 Watts, but that would still be under what your current one is listed for. It will still work; it just means your power usage will be lowered by a bit.
