Are the hooks just standard steel and what is the size of the hook3/8 or 1/2. What is the size of the cable and is it aircraft cable?

The Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # C80151 have zinc-coated steel S-hooks. The cables are braided steel and nylon coated. It would not be aircraft cable. The diameter of the hooks is 3/8". I have linked a video review of these cables for you.
