Question:
I have a 1999 Eagle tandem axle boat trailer and need to replace the brakes. The part number from Eagle to order from them is P-450860. Do you have a product that can be ordered to replace that brake and if so, what would your product number be? They are 10 inch by 2.25 inch pads.

We have a few product options to replace your brake assemblies. I recommend the Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - Dacromet - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs # AKFBBRK-35-D. This will give you both assemblies for one axle. These are free-backing so you can back up with your trailer without engaging the trailer brakes. They are marine-grade and designed for boat trailers. The dacromet coating offers corrosion resistance.
Another really nice option is the similar brake assemblies from Titan, the Titan Hydraulic Brake Kit - Free Backing - Galphorite - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3,750 lbs # T4423500-400. The galphorite plating delivers the corrosion resistance. For a galvanized option, I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Kit - Free Backing - Galvanized - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 40716-15. All of the options are marine grade, so it depends on your preference, but all of these are viable replacement options for you 1999 Eagle tandem axle boat trailer brake assemblies.
I recommend using the Brake Adjustment Spoon for Drum Brakes # W80630 to adjust your brake assemblies at installation as well as for regular maintenance.
