Question:
This came up as an option for my 2016 Subaru Impreza wagon, but in the description page, it only lists the Crosstrek models in the fitsinch section. Which one is accurate? My car does have the knockout panel mentioned in the description, or at least I think thats what Im looking at in the attached picture.

The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7211 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Subaru Impreza Wagon as long as it has single exhaust and the center knock-out panel in the lower rear fascia you have pictured. When not in use, you may be interested in the cover # 22282 for a clean look. This trailer hitch will give you a factory look with very clean and hidden look.
For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118573 which connects behind your driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse. This will draw power directly from your battery to protect your factory electronics.
I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. This kit will give you the ability to tow multiple trailers and will not give you accessories that will not work with your particular hitch location. This will be straight-forward and functional.
