Solution for 2015 Nissan Pathfinder No Trailer Running Lights
Updated 09/16/2024 | Published 12/28/2017 >
Question:
My 2015 Pathfinder has the factory-installed tow package but the point in the plug receiver for my trailers running lights shows no signal. After reading through some of your troubleshooting QandAs, it appears that the Pathfinder may be missing a relay, or the relay may need replacing. Would you please post a photo or video of the location of the relay harness, how to access it, and which relay I would need to add or replace? Thank you.

Trailer running lights not working with certain Nissan vehicles is a common problem with an easy fix. There is a relay for the trailer running light circuit that is located in the fuse box (in the cab). If that relay is missing or no longer functions then it can be replaced with one of the blue relays from the Curt Relay Kit # C57000.
The relay of the running light circuit on your Pathfinder is in the relay harness behind the passenger floorboard kick panel.
If you check out the install video I attached the first thing shown is how to access this area.
