Troubleshooting No Trailer Running Lights with Curt T-Connector # C56281 on 2019 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:
I purchased the Curt 4 pole wiring kit for my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. I have brake lights and turn signals but no running lights. I’ve seen past answers talking about a fuse box behind the passenger kick plate mine is on driver side and has no provision for a relay to be plugged in. I’ve checked all the wiring for the kit and still nothing. What am I missing?

If the trailer running lights aren't working with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56281 installed on your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder, most likely the two additional blue relays that are included in the kit just need to be installed. The fuse box where these will be inserted on your Pathfinder is actually located under the hood, directly behind the driver's side head light.
I have attached an image below that shows the box with the two relays already inserted (there will also be a lid that needs to be taken off first). Pathfinder's with the factory tow package would already have these in place, but on those without the factory package the fuse box will have two empty cavities.
If this doesn't resolve the issue please let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.

Tried the above advice, still the running lights won’t come on. It everything else is working (brake and turn lights). Is there anything else we can try?
