Using a Thule Adventurer With the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack

Question:
I have the thule adventurer 650, older box. Owners told me they always used square bars. I have a round bar brand new yakima qtower set up. Can i bolt the box right to the round bars or do i need some adaptor?

The Thule Adventurer 650 is able to equip to the Yakima RoundBar kits included in their Q-Tower system. The Adventurer uses part # TH04997, the QM3 Mounting Kit.
I've included a picture of what the kit looks like installed on the bar without the box or pads attached.
When you're bolting on the mounting kit, i recommend alternating between each wing-nut on each location to get the most level fit possible. You can see the slight deflection in the bottom mounting piece, this is caused by the round bar's shape. The pads and box will help make this installation more level than what i got without either.
