thanks the quick response...I think I'm using the wrong term....here is what I'm looking to repair on my trailer, would this fit my trailer? Curt C25094

There is a coupler lock available for your 1-7/8" Shelby coupler, though they locks themselves aren't truly "universal;" oftentimes they say they will fit "most" but will name specific brands and types they fit. For example, the Master Lock Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # 379DAT will fit a 1-7/8" straight lip, rolled lip and surge brake/hydraulic couplers from Shelby, but also from Reese, Fulton, Valley, Atwood, Shelby, Putnam, Bulldog, Dutton-Lainson and UFP. There is also the Blaylock # BLTL-33-40D which will fit a 1-7/8" Shelby trigger-style coupler that may work for you.

The Curt # C25094 is a repair kit for Curt Posi-Lock couplers. Shelby was acquired by Dutton-Lainson and there are no repair kits available for a Shelby. What I recommend is getting a new coupler that will be much easier to find parts or repair kits for such as the Dutton-Lainson # DL23870.
