Installing a Yakima HangOut 2 on a 2016 Jeep Renegade With Spoiler

Question:

I have gone through the video for the installation of the hangout 2. I just wanted to clarify that the straps wont put too much weight on the top spoiler? Is there anything to be aware of when tightening straps down?

For the Yakima HangOut 2, part # Y02638, you'll want to uninstall the rack when it is not in use, as prolonged installation can wear the strength of the spoiler down over time, however, normal use and correct installation go a long way to protect your spoiler.

You'll want to make sure that the top hooks are correctly put into the "Anchor" mode. I've included the instructions on how to do that.
