Recommended Discreet Trailer Hitch for 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would like the most hidden and discreet trailer hitch with a 2inch receiver mainly to be used for a bike rack. No planned towing. Please advise which product would work best. Thanks!

There are a few trailer hitches available that are confirmed to fit your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For the hitch that will provide the most hidden design when mounted at the rear of the vehicle, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75699. This Class III, 2 inch hitch receiver features a hidden crosstube and a receiver that will be just a bit more tucked away under the bumper when compared to the similar Curt Class III model. It is custom-fit for your vehicle, which means it will use existing holes in the Jeep's frame for a no-drill installation.

Can the # 75699 be used to tow a boat (5000 lbs) ? I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 2018. Thanks

Since you plan on towing a boat that weighs upwards of 5,000 lbs you'll either need to use a weight distribution system to get the higher 7,500 lb tow rating or simply use a different hitch like the etrailer # e98901 which is rated for 6,000 lbs towing without a weight distribution system.
