Question:

When the 39213 tonneau cover is rolled up against the cab, what is the width of the cover? I have an in bed tool box and am wondering if this was installed over the bed of my 2017 Ram 3500, could I still open the tool box. This tool box is not mounted to the bed rails and does not extend above the bed. It mounts on the bed floor and could this tonneau cover restrict me opening the box when installed. Thank you.

I spoke to my contact at BAK Industries about the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK39213 for your 2017 Ram 3500 and they informed me that while the cover is in the folded up position, it will sit about 10" out onto the side bed rails from the rear bed rail.

In order to gain easy access to the toolbox, you will want a tonneau cover that opens from the cab and tailgate like the # TX746901. This will allow you to access the toolbox without worrying about the lid hitting or interfering with the tonneau cover.
