Hi, i am looking for tire chains for 255/80r17 tiresize. i dont want to screw around with chains breaking. i will be using offroad. i am looking at PWE2228SC is this good choice. also planning to pick up 4x TCQL192 and TCMA2. let me know if i am missing anything or if you would suggest changes. best,

All of our tire chain sets that will fit your tire size 255/80-17 and that can be used off-road are shown on the linked page.
The Pewag All Square Reversible Snow Tire Chains # PWE2228SC that you referenced are an excellent choice for on-road use but since you are intending to use these off-road as well you will be better off using chains # PWE2228S. These also are reversible all-square chains.
You can use rubber adjusters # TCMA2.
I suggest you check your vehicle owner's manual to confirm its maker approves using chains on your specific tire size.
