Electric Trailer Brakes and Hub/Drum Recommendation for Hayes 3,500 lb Axle

Thanks for the answer. Are there any self adjusting brakes for this application?

I recommend the etrailer.com Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K as this is a correct fit for your 3,500 lb Hayes axle.

For the 10 x 2-1/4 inch drum on your Hayes/AL-KO axle, I recommend the Hayes 10 Inch Electric trailer Brake Assembly # 60202703 for the right hand side and # 60202803 for the left hand side. These brakes are specifically designed to fit Hayes/AL-KO axles.

Yes there is! I should have recommended these first, but for a self-adjusting brake kit we have the part # AKEBRK-35-SA which comes with both sides and will fit your axle.
