Im looking for a nice inconspicuous trailer hitch for a 2015 VW GTI. Is there a model with a 2inch receiver? to fit our existing Thule bike rack. Thanks,

Item # 306-X7309 is as confirmed fit and would work well. It is a class II hitch with the 2-inch receiver opening that you asked about. The 2-inch opening gives you more choices for bike racks and cargo carriers. This hitch has a 300-pound tongue weight capacity and a 2000-pound towing capacity. You will need to check the capacities for your Golf and if they are lower, you will need to go by the lower limits. Please check out the attached installation instructions. This hitch is estimated to take a full 2 hours to install, this is more involved than most hitches. The install does not require drilling, but it does require temporary removal of bumper/fascia during installation. It also requires some fascia trimming to fit.
